What data is collected

This site collects only the data you enter voluntarily in the available forms, plus the technical data required for the service to work.

• Professional contact form: name and surname, company, role, country, email address, phone (optional), type of enquiry, project description.
• Updates signup form: name, email address, preferred language.
• Technical browsing data logged by the hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time of the request.

Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to a professional enquiry: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject and the legitimate interest in replying to a message received.
• Sending updates about the editorial project and professional activities: the legal basis is consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
• Keeping the site secure and functioning, including measures against automated form submissions: the legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest.

How data is stored

Data submitted through the forms is processed by the hosting and form-handling provider, which acts as a processor and stores the data on its own infrastructure.

Data relating to an enquiry is kept for as long as needed to handle it and for the subsequent period useful to managing any professional relationship. Updates signup data is kept until consent is withdrawn.

Disclosure and transfers

Data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for their own purposes. It may be processed by the technical providers required to deliver the service (hosting, form handling, email delivery) under data processing agreements.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the Regulation, in particular standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing, and to receive it in a structured format. You may also withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Children

The services described on this site are aimed at companies, organisations and professionals. The forms are not intended for anyone under sixteen and no data relating to children is requested.
